Turan University annually conducts a training seminar for teachers of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan on teaching students’ entrepreneurship. And this year was no exception. From 11 to 22 January 2021, a training seminar “Methods of teaching students’ entrepreneurship” was held at our university in online format.

Business trainers with extensive personal experience in entrepreneurship development and entrepreneurship training were invited to conduct the classes. The partners of our university shared their thoughts on the development of business incubators, on the formation and development of entrepreneurial thinking, entrepreneurial skills among various categories of students, ranging from beginners to those who have experience in creating their own business.

The seminar was conducted by business trainers of the Qoldau Entrepreneurship Center, MOST business incubator, Soft Skills Kazakhstan.

There was Interesting and useful information on state grants allocated by the City Government of Almaty for business development, which was provided by representatives of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Investment of the city of Almaty.

Classes were conducted interactively. Teachers received the most relevant information about changes in legislation in business activities of the Republic of Kazakhstan and taxation, analyzed the problem of business development in a pandemic, analyzed various cases from practice, considered options for getting out of the “pit” of the crisis, got acquainted with ways to promote a professional account in social networks, and disassembled the psych types of managers and team building issues.
